If you’re looking for something a little more upscale or here on the island we call it, “Casual Fine Dining,” The Jacaranda is the place to go. They specialize in seafood, steak, and spirits. Every item on their menu is guaranteed to make it hard for anyone to choose a single entrée! This Island dining experience is also unique in the fact of it’s naming. The story says an Indian Chief on Sanibel Island kept having a lot of unsettling, bad luck, he ended up sleeping one night under a beautiful tree and was suddenly, awakened by a red ant bite on his toe, sending him positive energy. He ended up planting a Jacaranda tree, which now sits in the front yard of this restaurant. You can call 239.472.1771 to place a reservation and check out www.jacarandaonsanibel.com to view their extensive menu. If you want to feel some island luck and enjoy great food, The Jacaranda is the place to dine!
